Ithaa is pronounced “eet-ha” and it means “pearl” in Dhivehi, is the world’s premier mostly glass undersea restaurant, secured 5 metres below sea level, at Hilton Maldives Resort & Spa in Rangalifinolhu, Maldives. This 5 x 9 meter restaurant has a capacity of 14 people and is encased in a transparent acrylic roof offering 270 degree panoramic view to its customers. This restaurant was designed and constructed by M.J. Murphy Ltd which is a design consultancy based in New Zealand. The meals of this restaurant range in cost from USD$120 to USD$250.
